Job Duties: Workers will perform a variety of duties related to grain farming operations during the primary growing season. Duties include operating farm equipment such as tractors and combines for field preparation, planting, spraying, haying, and harvesting activities. Workers will assist with planting and harvesting crops, ensuring tasks are completed within critical seasonal timeframes. Responsibilities also include hauling grain from fields to designated storage locations and driving farm-related vehicles, including semi-trucks, as needed for agricultural operations. Workers will perform routine maintenance and servicing of farm equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Additional duties include general shop maintenance and upkeep of equipment used in daily farming activities. All work is performed in outdoor agricultural settings and may require extended hours during peak periods based on weather conditions and crop demands. Workers must be able to safely operate agricultural machinery and perform standard crop production tasks consistent with normal farming operations. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.

Special Requirements: Minimum of 3 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced LevelPursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
