Job Description

This high-ownership fullstack role allows you to take charge of core product surfaces from architecture to production reliability. You will design and build systems that power essential workflows, making significant architectural decisions and raising the engineering standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end fullstack systems that drive core product workflows.
• Architect and develop clean, scalable backend services and APIs with clear ownership.
• Create high-quality, performant frontend interfaces that are delivered directly to users.
• Manage data modeling and database performance, including schema design and query optimization.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into functional systems.
• Set and maintain engineering quality standards through reviews, testing, and technical leadership.
• Quickly debug and resolve production issues, enhancing reliability and observability.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed and correctness in a dynamic AI-lab environment.

• Professional experience in building and owning production fullstack systems.
• Strong TypeScript experience across both frontend and backend.
• Solid backend expertise with Node.js, preferably using NestJS.
• Experience in developing real products with React.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs at scale.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices and/or serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Redis, queues, background workers, or async job systems.
• Strong systems thinking, ownership mindset, and attention to detail.

This is a full-time remote position. Candidates must be able to overlap with the PST timezone for at least 6-8 hours.

The annual base salary range for this position is $230,000–$280,000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation and may receive performance-based bonuses, subject to company policies.
