Lawn & Garden Associate (Greenhouse)
Koopman Lumber – Uxbridge, MA
Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal (April–June)
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (Based on experience and required licenses)

About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Lawn & Garden Associate to support our greenhouse and outdoor sales area. This role focuses on plant care, stocking, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, helping customers, and learning about plants and garden products. Strong seasonal performers may have the opportunity to transition into a year-round, full-time position.

What You’ll Do

• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone
• Assist customers with plant selection, care guidance, and product recommendations
• Maintain and care for live plants, including watering, inspecting for quality, and identifying pests or disease
• Stock and organize products in the greenhouse and Lawn & Garden areas
• Unload and receive incoming shipments, following proper procedures
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Stay informed on products, pricing, and seasonal promotions
• Communicate effectively with store leadership and team members
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles
• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment

Schedule

• Full-time, part-time, or seasonal (April–June)
• Flexible schedule
• Saturday availability required, with a day off during the week

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour based on experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
