  • Integrate risk-based processes into network operations and strategy.
  • Oversee risks tied to technology changes, stability, and continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Monitor and remediate risks for internal and third-party facilities.
  • Support global regulatory engagements, exams, and requests.
  • Report directly to AT&T’s Director of Technology Risk.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in network engineering, operations, or technology risk management in large-scale environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in network platforms, architectures, protocols, and operations (routing, switching, firewalls, SDN/NFV, cloud, 5G).
  • Proven success in identifying, assessing, and remediating technology risks.
  • Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and regulatory standards (NIST, ISO, SOX, COBIT).
  • Experience developing KRIs, KPIs, and using risk analytics/dashboard tools.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with technical and executive audiences.
  • Leadership experience driving risk programs across distributed organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degree/certifications (CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CISM) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience across the risk lifecycle: advisory, identification, assessment, response, monitoring, governance.
  • Demonstrated success in remediating audit and regulatory compliance issues.
