Who We Are Looking For:  We are seeking a well-rounded professional with strong training and customer service skills and a solid understanding of school financial processes, school accounting, and/or payroll processing. In this role, you will receive the technology, training, and team support you need to succeed. This role is a mix of training and onboarding, customer support, and problem-solving for a cloud-based software used by schools.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  •  Guide new customers through onboarding and setup of the cloud-based software
  •  Train users on how to use the software in their daily work
  •  Provide ongoing support (calls, troubleshooting, issue resolution)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of financial management, fund accounting, payroll, and human resources when assisting customers
  • Take ownership of customer issues and manage escalations as needed to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain service level expectations and prioritize support requests effectively
  • Escalate complex problems when needed
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and assist in training fellow support staff
  • Travel within Indiana to support customers onsite

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Ability to multitask and think quickly in a fast-paced support environment
  • Strong customer service mindset with empathy and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills and patience when working with customers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Desire to travel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in accounting, payroll, or human resources.

Helpful Knowledge or Experience

  • School finance, payroll and human resource functions, roles, and responsibilities within school corporations
  • Experience with Boyce / Komputrol product applications
