POSITION: Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator

The ACE Agency, a Southern CA based public relations and marketing agency seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. The position will report to PR & Marketing Manager and collaborate with a team of PR and marketing executives. The ideal candidate will be ready to excel in a fast-paced environment, with proven experience working in communications.

Skills:

• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Highly developed interpersonal communication for developing relationships, managing situations seamlessly, and making recommendations effectively
• Highly organized with ability to develop actionable plans
• Ability to speak and present information effectively to a group of people

Role:

• Strategically coordinate, execute and maintain tactics for multiple client accounts
• Develop timelines, agendas, media plans, and action items to drive accounts forward productively
• Develop, coordinate and maintain personal relationships with members of the press and influencers, within editorial, advertising and marketing departments
• Cultivate and manage press and content creator lists
• Strong writing skills to develop media materials including press releases, news advisories, pitches, bios, talking points, scripts, content calendars, overviews and promotions
• Craft engaging and creative media pitches and story angles that generate attention and meaningful coverage
• Collaborate on developing promotions and social media campaigns that generate publicity, engagement and added value media exposure
• Coordinate client status meetings and meeting agendas to effectively update clients on account activities and move campaigns forward
• Report to and collaborate with the agency’s manager and director to strategize and execute marketing and PR plans and strategies
• Collaborate with the PR and social media team to maximize efforts, share information and support tactics
• Manage agency Interns
• Maintain knowledge of media and social media monitoring platform and other industry tools
• Stay on top of PR and marketing industry trends and news

Compensation:

• The position is full time
• Salary based on experience plus healthcare and bonus packages
