Position Overview

The Product Manager Analyst supports the product management team by analyzing product performance, market opportunities, and operational data to guide product strategy and decision-making. This role bridges data, customer insights, and product operations to ensure product initiatives are grounded in measurable outcomes and aligned with company objectives.

The Product Manager Analyst works cross-functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to track product performance, evaluate new opportunities, and support product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Analytics & Performance

  • Analyze product usage, adoption, and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key product KPIs.
  • Evaluate pricing, packaging, and revenue performance across product offerings.
  • Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and other product performance evaluations.

Market & Competitive Research

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze competitor products, pricing, and feature sets.
  • Support product managers in identifying new product opportunities or enhancements.

Product Development Support

  • Assist product managers in gathering and documenting product requirements.
  • Help translate business needs into clear product documentation and analysis.
  • Support product roadmap planning with data-backed insights.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to gather product feedback and operational insights.
  • Support product launch preparation through research, documentation, and analysis.
  • Assist in tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Business Case Development

  • Develop financial models, cost analysis, and ROI assessments for new product initiatives.
  • Support pricing strategy and product packaging analysis.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to guide product decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2- 4 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, product management support, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SaaS or technology products.
  • Familiarity with product management frameworks and agile development processes.
  • Experience with CRM, product analytics tools, or BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, unit economics, or product financial modeling.
