Job Description

Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Coxsackie NY 12051

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Work Schedule: Per diem as requested

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing and treating persons with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs.
• Recommending and assisting in obtaining other services as deemed necessary.
• May need to perform special education assessments and present findings to a Committee on Special Education.
• May select and recommend alternative communication systems and teach their use.
• May perform research related to speech and language problems and present results of such research.
