Harford Community College is seeking a part-time Summer Camps Nurse to support our Summer Camps from June 22 – August 14, 2026 . This role serves as the Health Supervisor , ensuring the health and safety of campers while camps are in session.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the summer camp health program
• Provide on-site medical support for campers with health needs
• Maintain camper and staff health records and incident logs
• Coordinate medical supplies and first aid materials
• Collaborate with and train designated campus staff
• Communicate with families regarding health documentation

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland
• Ability to pass FBI, MD, and CJIS background checks
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (training provided if needed)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a camp setting

Details

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Shifts between 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Employee training required the week of June 8, 2026
• Applicants must reside in Maryland or contiguous states and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Previous experience in a camp or pediatric setting preferred.

Compensation: $3,851 paid over duration of season
