Lumark Technologies, Inc . (), founded in 1999, is a mature small business that provides services to Defense, Federal and Commercial clients. Lumark has an exciting job opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our team in support of Corporate Clients and their U.S. Military Contracts onsite in Fairfax, VA – this is an IMMEDIATE OPENING .

The ideal candidate will hold experience supporting multiple client-facing projects in a systems engineering capacity and participate in corporate IT initiatives as needed. Client-facing projects will include supporting the U.S. Military and Federal Government agencies in a classified setting. U.S. Citizenship and a DoD SECRET clearance is required with preferably, Top Secret Eligibility . Duties

• Supports a team of programmers and IT support staff.
• Trains teams on data security, troubleshooting processes and related skills.
• Oversees the creation, installation and support for computing systems to include databases, networks, and software systems.
• Interacts with clients to determine their computing and technology needs.
• Designs, develops, and documents system architectures.
• Works to improve the stability and security of cloud and on-premises networks.
• Helps obtain, maintain and upkeep corporate certification to include ISO and CMMC.
• Aids in the migration and modernization of IT systems.
• Aids awarded task orders in a systems engineering capacity as needed.
• Participates in other tasking as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a relevant computer engineering discipline.
• Must hold 6-10 years of relevant Systems Engineering experience, preferably supporting U.S. Military or Federal government clients.
• Must currently hold or have recently held a DoD SECRET clearance or higher.
• Must live in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area and be willing to commute to our corporate headquarters in Fairfax, VA.
• CompTIA Security+ CE preferred.
