Job Title: Transportation Coordinator / Dispatcher

Compensation: $50,000–$62,000 annually (Direct Hire)

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization in the construction services space to identify a Transportation Coordinator / Dispatcher. This company supports large-scale field operations and is expanding due to increased demand for its services.

Job Description:

The Transportation Coordinator / Dispatcher plays a key role in organizing daily field operations by scheduling drivers, coordinating routes, and ensuring timely service execution. This individual will serve as a central point of communication between field teams, internal departments, and customers to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign daily routes based on driver availability and workload priorities
• Communicate schedules, updates, and changes to drivers and internal teams
• Monitor daily operations and adjust routing as needed to maintain efficiency
• Serve as a primary contact for drivers, addressing questions and resolving issues in real time
• Provide clear instructions and updates regarding job assignments and route changes
• Track and review driver logs, inspections, and related documentation
• Partner with leadership to address customer concerns and service issues
• Keep customers informed on service timing and any delays
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Escalate and document any incidents or safety concerns

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or customer service
• Prior exposure to construction, field services, or transportation environments preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Familiarity with GPS tracking or routing systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check (MVR required for driving eligibility)

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating on-call coverage (approximately every third weekend)
• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Start Date: Immediate
• Reports To: Dispatch Manager
