About the Position

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to help drive the delivery of digital projects, primarily WordPress websites, across our team.

We’re seeking an organized, proactive Project Coordinator who cares about clarity, accountability, and keeping projects moving. You should be comfortable working across design, engineering, and client stakeholders while maintaining structure and momentum.

This role focuses on coordination, communication, and execution support. It is not a passive PM role. You will actively manage workflows, track progress, and help unblock teams.

This opportunity is open to independent contractors interested in per-project or ongoing freelance work. You’ll work closely with our engineering, design, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences for clients across industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project execution across design, engineering, and content teams.
• Manage tasks and workflows in tools like Trello and Slack.
• Ensure tickets are clearly defined, scoped, and prioritized before development begins.
• Track progress, flag risks early, and help unblock the team
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain clear documentation, notes, and updates across all active projects.
• Support QA processes by organizing feedback, tracking issues, and ensuring resolution.
• Ensure timelines, milestones, and deliverables stay on track.
• Help enforce internal standards for delivery, organization, and communication.
• Be available during agreed-upon business hours (UTC/GMT -5 hours, Dallas, TX, USA) for collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a project coordination, project management, or operations role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with digital teams (design, development, content).
• Familiarity with tools like Trello, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Ability to break down work into clear, actionable tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple parallel projects.
• Ability to proactively identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
• Experience with website or digital product projects is preferred.
