Senior Front-End Engineer & Technical Lead

Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on front-end engineer who thrives at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and team leadership. This role blends deep technical execution with the ability to guide engineers, shape front-end strategy, and partner across disciplines to ship high‑quality digital products.

Core Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 2+ years of production Angular experience, with strong command of core concepts such as components, modules, routing, forms, and reactive/state management patterns (RxJS or equivalent).
• 2+ years serving as a Technical Lead—driving architecture, mentoring engineers, delegating work, and owning delivery from concept through release.
• Strong ability to integrate with RESTful APIs, including debugging contract mismatches and collaborating with backend teams to resolve issues.
• Demonstrated success building and shipping multiple large-scale applications within Agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of partnering effectively with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders.
• Commitment to sustainable engineering practices: automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance considerations, and UI-focused monitoring/alerting.

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as a player/coach—contributing code daily while also guiding architectural decisions, engineering patterns, and delivery practices.
• Define and uphold front-end quality standards, including code review expectations, maintainable patterns, testing rigor, and incremental delivery of releasable work.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend teams to plan integrations, shape technical approaches, and deliver cohesive end‑to‑end user experiences.
• Break down complex features into clear, actionable stories that support predictable delivery.
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to engineers, helping elevate the team’s capabilities and consistency.
• Troubleshoot issues across the front-end stack, ensuring reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering workflows, tooling, and best practices.
