Legal Conflicts Analyst | Nashville, TN | $70,000–$75,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well‑established law firm in Nashville, Tennessee to identify an experienced Conflicts Analyst to join its conflicts and new business intake team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed research, analytical work, and collaborating closely with attorneys while handling sensitive information with care and discretion.

Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year

The Opportunity

The Conflicts Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, researching, and resolving potential conflicts of interest. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze conflict of interest requests to identify potential issues
  • Conduct detailed research related to client relationships and prior matters
  • Prepare clear and concise conflict search reports for attorney review
  • Maintain and update conflicts records within the database
  • Review new client and matter intake submissions for accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze and index engagement letters
  • Collaborate with attorneys to document and resolve conflict clearances
  • Respond to inquiries from attorneys and legal staff with a high level of professionalism and customer service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm environment, preferably in conflicts, new business intake, or as a legal assistant
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Intapp or similar conflicts systems is a plus
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with attorneys and legal staff
