Job Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, and integration of a wireless internet (WISP / Fixed Wireless Access) network.

This role will focus on building out infrastructure to support tower-based wireless connectivity, ensuring reliable data flow from access points back into the core network.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of wireless internet (FWA/WISP) networks
• Assist in defining standard equipment (BOM) for tower sites and network deployments
• Configure and bring online network equipment within tower enclosures and building sites
• Ensure proper integration between wireless access points and backhaul network
• Work with vendors and internal teams to deploy and optimize network infrastructure
• Support network turn-up, testing, and troubleshooting of new sites
• Ensure proper routing of traffic from wireless sites into the broader network
• Assist with rack design, power planning, and equipment layout at tower locations

Requirements

• Experience working in WISP, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), or wireless broadband environments
• Hands-on experience with network deployment, site integration, or infrastructure buildouts
• Strong understanding of routing and network fundamentals (IP, OSPF, BGP preferred)
• Experience with backhaul networks (fiber or wireless)
• Familiarity with wireless technologies (LTE, 5G, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint)
• Experience working with network equipment vendors (e.g., Tarana, Cambium, Ubiquiti, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to work in a hands-on, project-driven environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with FTTH / fiber networks (not required)
• Experience with automation or scripting tools
• Exposure to rack-level infrastructure (switching, power, layout)
